  • Right Honourable Kim Campbell was elected Prime Minister of Canada in 1993 and between 1989 and 1993 she served as Minister of different portfolios in Canadian government. Campbell was the first, and to date, only female Prime Minister of Canada.

  • Campbell was Acting President of the Club of Madrid from its founding in 2002 to 2003. She then served as Vice President until January of 2004, when she was named Secretary General.

  • Since 2014, Campbell is founding principal of the new Peter Lougheed Leadership College at the University of Alberta.
